Submission

The SBE25 Tokyo conference invites researchers to submit abstracts for consideration. Accepted abstracts will allow authors the option to submit either an Extended Abstract (approximately 2 pages) or a Full Paper (approximately 10 pages).

Full Papers that pass the review process and are presented at the conference will be published in the online open-access journal IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science, complete with DOI and indexing in Scopus and Web of Science. Extended Abstracts will not be published in the journal.

Upon acceptance of your abstract, you may submit an Extended Abstract (approximately 2 pages). Please note that Extended Abstracts will not be included in the online open-access journal. This option provides a concise summary of your work for presentation without committing to a full-length paper.

Full Paper Submission Guidelines:

Alternatively, accepted authors may submit a Full Paper (approximately 10 pages). Accepted Full Papers will be published in the IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science, with an assigned DOI. This journal is indexed in Scopus and Web of Science, enhancing the visibility and academic impact of your work.

Submission Requirements:

When submitting your abstract, extended abstract, or full paper, you will be asked to:

  1. Select Submission Category:
    Choose the category that most closely aligns with your research from the submission categories list presented on the Aims and Scope page.
  2. Identify Relevant Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
    Indicate which SDGs are most closely related to your research to better align your work with global sustainability objectives.
  3. Indicate Conference Themes:
    Specify which of the conference themes your research contributes to:
    • Theme 1: Whole life carbon neutralization and reduction of other environmental loads.
    • Theme 2: Health and well-being promotion and improvement of environmental quality.

Important Dates:

Please keep the submission deadline in mind, as we cannot accept abstracts submitted after the deadline.
